Khallikote Autonomous college, Berhampur, Odisha is century old institution with its continuing glory and reach history. The citadel learning of the institution stands as a beacon of knowledge and wisdom in the southern part of the state, spreading its tentacles around the globe having its live present all over the country.

The institution started to operate in the year 1878. Beginning with F.A classes, science classes at the undergraduate level were introduced in the year 1944, with 40 seats in Mathematics Honours course. Post graduate teaching in Mathematics in the Year 1963 with 40 seats. M.Phil. courses started from 1987 with 08 seats.
