ADMISSION PROCEDURE FOR MCA COURSE

Students are taking admission into the MCA course through Odisha JEE conducted by BPUT. So the College ensure quality intake for its courses.

MCA Eligibility from the session 2020
From 2020 session the MCA course is 2 years duration.
Eligibility:

All those candidates who have passed bachelor’s degree of minimum three years duration in BCA/B.Sc.(IT)/B.Sc.(CS) or equivalent/B.Voc. with Computer as a major subject and with mathematics at 10+2 level or at graduation level.

or

Bachelor Degree in Computer Science & Engineering or equivalent.

or

Any bachelor’s degree of minimum three years duration with mathematics at 10+2 level or at graduation level and minimum One Year Diploma in Computer Application/Science/IT or equivalent from any recognized University/Institution.

The MCA department has two computer Laboratories with 32 numbers of computers. The entire computers are in LAN and we have broad band internet facility. So that students are getting facility of accessing the internet 24 hours.

Besides this we have a Laptop, LCD projector and Projector screen. So we are conducting the lab classes through the laptop and LCD projector, which is highly essential for the students in this era. In addition to this we have 2 numbers of inverters of 5kv capacity which enables the students to do the practical without any power failure/disturbance. 

LIBRARY FACILITIES:

Our MCA department has a library of its own with large no of computer books as per the MCA course as well as computer magazines and news papers. Besides this the college has a central library with a rich collection of more than 30,000 books, Journals and magazines.

Seminar not only adds knowledge but also widens the horizon of knowledge. So students are regularly conducting the internal as well as external seminars. Internal seminars are conducted by the students of the MCA using LCD and Laptop in every week. The external seminar is conducted by inviting the experts, IT professionals, management experts and cooperate delegates from various fields and organization. Besides this students are conducting various extra curricular activities like quiz, debate, sports from time to time.
